Kamyala Howard
  

Kamyala Howard, MSW, LCSW, is the founder and lead consultant of “WE’RE DIVINE”. Ms. Howard has over 22 years of leadership experience working with non-profit and private agencies. She has a proven ability to create innovative models that assist with cultural change, dismantling barriers, leadership development and building intercultural relations.  Her areas of expertise include, supporting young children, families and communities facing multiple challenges. Her experiences include early childhood program development, creating models for cultural reflective healing, and disrupting cycles of trauma.
Ms. Howard received her graduate degree from the University of Minnesota with special emphasis on cultural studies, family systems and direct clinical practice. She is a licensed mental health practitioner certified in a range of professional training methods. 
Ms. Howard is an active member on many advisory councils and continues to build a large network.  As a community leader Ms. Howard believes it is her duty to establish a system that brings voices of those often on the margins to the table, so they can be a part of solution-focused discussions to complex problems; Increasing community engagement and organizing a pipeline for systemic change is crucial.

Bryan Carroll

Bryan Carroll is a father, a son, a brother, and a motivator. He is also a community organizer, an educator, a youth consultant, an author, a behavioral specialist, and the future owner of an early childhood learning center. Bryan has always been dedicated to serving his community in many capacities and has continued to do so as a citizen of Houston, TX. He was born in Killeen, TX, and raised in Baltimore, MD - a place known for its violence and poverty. Baltimore is where he developed a passion to serve others. He graduated from Randallstown High School in Baltimore County before attending Grambling State University to play football and later transferring to Louisiana Tech University to finish up his college football career. Bryan was an All State Football and Baseball player in High School. After college Bryan went on to play in the Arena Football league for a few years.    

He just recently authored a children's book entitled "Super Sharing". He develops "coming of age" curriculum's and mentoring programs like Athletic Intelligence, a program which provides life skills, athletic training, college prep, and coaching to young athletes. He also founded a non-profit, entitled Community Under Reconstruction through Education (CURE).   A larger organization that seeks to infuse youth to be strong mentally, socially, emotionally, and academically; specializing in diverse intellectual and physical activities and training programs related to human development.

He is currently teaching at a middle school in Houston and is working to open an early childhood education center that will focus on building foundational literary skills. Bryan has and hopes to continue to advocate on the behalf of undeserved youth.
